Coming soon..
Tech and Wine is being remodeled and pared down considerably. I’m also adding a new website: Marketing for Introverts Lab. The primary focus will be on marketing strategies for introverted business owners who:
- Don’t want to play the “extrovert” marketing game: (Endless networking, social media, meetings, and live calls)
- Are tired of being a slave to algorithms
- Are tired of being “ON” all the time
- Can leverage one of their primary strengths: Building a library of IP (Intellectual Property) that can be monetized, used to quietly market their expertise, and “fight the good fight” against AI slop and intellectual theft.
We will continue building websites for select and limited clients.
Interested in Marketing for Introverts?
I’ve evolved, and the world has evolved even faster. Maybe this describes you as well. For a lot of us, this has meant adjusting, pivoting, and staying grounded while surfing each new wave of change that we encounter.
It’s not necessarily about “keeping up” but playing our own game. I believe that us introverts need to play the “long game” in this age of AI slop and corporate “enshittification” (yes, that’s a real word) by leveraging our strengths. This could mean building a library of our own IP (Intellectual property) It could mean we adjust our monetization models, or how we deliver our products and services. Or simply mean how to stay sane and even thrive, as introverted business owners and entrepreneurs.
If this sounds like something you might be interested in, you can sign up to get notified when Marketing for Introverts Lab goes live. I’ll probably send an occasional email to let you know about some free stuff I’ll be putting together as well.
The 8 pillars of an effective website
This is not changing.
Each of the 8 pillars are addressed during the process of building your website:
- Foundations: Your message, ideal client, and brand
- Systems: Your website is the center of your ecosystem
- Storytelling: The StoryBrand framework
- Strategy: The step by step plan for client/customer acquisition
- Technology: Learning how to “drive” your WordPress/DIVI site
- Attraction: How people will find your website/SEO
- Autopilot: Lead capture: Build your list automatically
- Data: Collecting data from Google and other important sources
The Process
The process of building a website, whether it’s a first website for a solo entrepreneur
or a complex e-commerce site, is done in phases.

PHASE 1
The “tech” part is my job, but we’ll need to go over things like login info, licenses, and how to use Trello

PHASE 2
This is one of THE most important stages in our work together. Yes, there will be homework, planning, and some clarity work to do, so that we can co-create your dream website

PHASE 3
This is when actual production begins. We start with a draft, customizing your chosen starting template, with 2 rounds of revisions using a real-time, live editor.

PHASE 4
Getting ready for the big day!
Final proofreading and sign off on this stage. Most of the work is now in my court, and I’ll be going through my checklist. Then we celebrate!

FOLLOW UP
You won’t be left on your own. Training, resources, and offboarding are also included. You may also choose to have us maintain your website on a monthly basis

Resources
You will get a LOT more than what most designers and developers provide. You’ll get guidance, coaching, accountability, free resources, and access to my signature courses
This may be a good fit if:
- You already have an at least somewhat established niche, and you already have a monetization plan in place. (You know what you are selling)
x - You are able to set aside a few hours each week, (3-4 hours including the time we meet, housekeeping, planning, gathering, etc) in order to complete the website within 4 to 6 weeks
x - You know how important it is to have a website that does more than just look good
- You are excited about creating a website you love and that reflects your unique services, products and brand
Know that it will take more time, of course, to go this route.
FAQ's
Are you still building websites?
Yes. Right now I’m focusing on the Marketing For Introverts Lab and maintaining a few websites. I still will be building websites but I will be more selective about the clients I take on.
You may be a good fit if:
You are a “thinking introvert” and business owner. By this I’m not referring to IQ or intelligence, but someone who might be an INTJ/INTP, is tired of being “ON” all the time, algorithms, AI slop, and wants to set up a better way to do business and honor their sovereignty.
You are willing to go through a planning phase to develop the strategy and branding for your site
You have a solid business model in place, or are willing to establish this before working with me to build your website
